Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) is a research-based curriculum that can help assure that parents learn to effectively understand children’s behavior, improve communication, and set limits along with consequences.
The 8 session program has provided service to Probation and DCFS referred clients as well as those who are self-referred. It’s easy to comprehend, effective, and research-based.
Class topics include:
Classes are currently available only via video conferencing

Evening Classes are:
Mondays 8-9pm

Day Classes are:
Mondays 10-11 am
OR
Thursdays 10-11am

Fees:
Consult $13
Fee per class $25
Participants can start at any time, but a consultation is required before the first session
8 classes to complete the curriculum
A Certification of Completion is given upon completion of class and weekly assignments.
